DEALING STEP POKER
DEALING STEP POKER
DEALING STEP POKER
The game is played with one deck of cards and after each round of play, the cards are shuffled and a new round starts always with all the 52 cards deck. The game has between two and five steps in a round of play and in which wagers for all steps are placed at the start of the round. Wagers are placed by each player on at least the first two steps of play in the round and each player has the option of placing additional wagers for subsequent steps of the round. At each step of the card game, each player’s hand is determined to be a winning hand or not according to a predetermined rule or a predetermined payout schedule.
At each step of the game the card dealer deals only one card to each player. Players place wagers in the circular posts 1 to 5; wagers on posts 1 and 2 are compulsory and wagers on posts 3, 4 and 5 are optional. Players must place wagers in numerical order at the start of a round i.e. they cannot skip a step in the wagering although they are not necessarily required on all steps. It is the advantage of the players, however, to place a wager on each post. Each wager has to be within the minimum-maximum limits posted at the table and each wager can vary within those limits. The amount of each wager made by each player can vary between the steps of the game.
- The dealer gives one card to each player at the table and places it open on the rectangle post #1. The dealer collects the losing bets and pays the winning bets according to payout (1), see Table 1
- The dealer gives a second card to each player and places it open on the rectangular post #2. The dealer then collects the losing 2 cards and the wagers on the circular post #2 and pushes back all wagers on the circular posts #3, #4 and #5 towards the respective players. The dealer pays the winning wagers on the circular post #2 for the two cards hands according to payout (2), see Table 1.
- The dealer gives a third card to each player, who won at the second step, if any, and has placed a third wager so as to qualify for a third step of the game, and either place it a) open on rectangle post #3 or b) down on top of the second card at post #2. If b) is followed, players can touch and handle the two cards on post #2, examine them and place them, in any order they want, on posts #2 and #3. The dealer then collects the losing 3 cards and the wagers on circular post #3 and pushes back all wagers on posts #4 and #5 to the respective players. The dealer pays the winning wagers on circular post #3 for the three cards hands according to payout (3), see Table 1.
- The dealer gives a fourth card to each player, who won at the third step, if any, and has placed a fourth wager so as to qualify for a fourth step of the game, and either place it a) open on rectangle post #4 or b) down on top of the third card at post #3. If b) is followed, players can touch and handle the two cards on post #3, examine them and place them, in any order they want, on posts #3 and #4. The dealer then collects the losing 4 cards and the wagers on circular post #4 and pushes back all wagers on circular post #5 towards the respective players. The dealer pays the winning wagers on post #4 for the four cards hands according to payout (4), see Table 1
- The dealer gives a fifth card to each player, who won at the fourth step, if any, and has placed a fifth wager so as to qualify for a fifth step of the game and either place it a) open on rectangle post #5 or b) down on top of the fourth card at post #4. If b) is followed, players can touch and handle the two cards, examine them and place them, in any order they want, on posts #4 and #5. The dealer then collects the losing 5 cards and the wagers on circular post #5. The dealer pays the winning wagers on circular post #5 for the five cards hands according to payout (5), see Table 1, and collects the winning 5 cards.
